Council President Cummings called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m.

3. Discussion and Action Items
Ordinance to amend Section 3.150 of the Manitowoc Municipal Code Regulating
the Room Tax Commission
Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Brey, that this Ordinance be approved. The
motion carried by the following vote:

Ordinance to create Section 3.155 of the Manitowoc Municipal Code creating a
Visit Manitowoc Board
Moved by Norell, seconded by DeBaets, that this Ordinance be approved. The
motion carried by the following vote:

Discussion and possible action on the acquisition of property for park purposes
located on Sylvan Drive
No action taken at this time.
Council President Cummings read the notice to convene in closed session: Notice is hereby given
that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during the meeting as
authorized by Section 19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the governmental
body to convene in closed session for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of
public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business,
whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session.
The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is:
25-0400 Discussion and possible action on the acquisition of property located on Sylvan Drive
A motion was made by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Schlei, to convene in closed
