Moved by Vanderkin, seconded by Boldt, to accept the Consent Agenda Items  
and recommendations of the various committees The motion carried by the

5. Discussion and Action Items  
23-0408 Pedestrian Crossing by Schuette Park.  
Police Chief Reimer informed a temporary pedestrian crossing signs has  
been placed in the area and crash data has been provided for review.  
Engineering Division Manager Greg Minikel had crew cut brush on the  
north side of Meadow Lane by Schuette park to increase visibility.  
Engineering staff has also reached out to the Department of Transportation  
Railroad Coordinator to determine in there are any stipulations/rules  
regarding installing a rapid flashing beacon near a railroad crossing and  
has not received a response.  
A motion was made to install a Rapid Flashing Pedestrian Beacon on  
Meadow Lane at Schuette Park pending approval from the DOT Railroad  
Coordinator. Funds should be requested through CAWG as an  
unbudgeted expense.  
Moved by Vanderkin, seconded by Boldt, that this Action Item be approved and  
referred to the Finance Committee. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye:  
Request for no parking on North 9th Street adjacent to the McMullen and  
Pitz Construction Company driveway for the distance of one parking stall.  
A motion was made to draft an ordinance for no parking on the north side  
of North 9th Street from McMullen & Pitz driveway to the north for 18 feet  
(one parking stall) Monday - Friday 7 am - 5 pm.  
Moved by Vanderkin, seconded by Boldt, that this Action Item be approved and  
referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye:  
Safety concern regarding McMullen & Pitz Construction Company hidden  
driveway on Maritime Drive near the intersection of North 10th Street.  
Engineering staff should research options for this concern and return to  
committee in July with recommendations.  
Parking on South 11th, 12th, and 13th Streets and Grand Avenue.  
Fire Chief Blaser was asked to assess the area and determine a minimum  
amount of space needed to properly access the residences on these  
streets should a situation arise and bring back this information to  
committee in July.  
6. Convene into Closed Session  
A motion was made by Alderperson Brett Vanderkin, seconded by Alderperson  
Tim Boldt, to convene in closed session at 6:26 p.m.. The motion carried by the  
following vote:

Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during  
the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(f) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the  
governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of considering financial, medical,  
social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of  
specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where  
par. (b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect  
upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems  
or investigations.  
The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is:  
LifeQuest hardship request, call 182A-23-0319.

7. Reconvene into Open Session  
A motion was made by Alderperson Brett Vanderkin, seconded by Alderperson  
Tim Boldt, to reconvene in open session at 6:34 p.m. The motion carried by the  
following vote:

LifeQuest hardship request, call 182A-23-0319.  
A motion was made to approve the hardship request.  
Moved by Vanderkin, seconded by Boldt, that this Request be approved and
