5. Discussion and Action Items  
Sex Offender Residency Board Appeal for Domanick Robinson.  
Police Chief Reimer made a recommendation to deny this request.  
Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by DeBaets, that this Action Item be denied and  
referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye:  
School Resource Officer Agreement for the City of Manitowoc and the  
Manitowoc Public School District.  
Police Chief Reimer clarified that the agreement has been revised to  
compensate the School Resource Officer (SRO) based on the actual  
mileage traveled, rather than a fixed rate. Additionally, the updated  
agreement excludes D.A.R.E. from the SRO's responsibilities, as the  
MPSD has chosen to eliminate it from its curriculum.  
Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by Cummings, that this Agreement be approved  
and referred to council. The motion carried by the following vote:

Discuss public/private school snow removal  
Operations Division Manager, Billy Hutterer, attended the meeting to clarify  
the snow removal process and address this topic. A motion was made to  
forward this matter to the Public Infrastructure Committee, with the goal of  
collecting data and evaluating the possibility of having all streets  
surrounding public and private schools plowed and salted after each  
snowfall plowed.  
Moved by DeBaets, seconded by Reckelberg, that this Communication be  
referred to the Public Infrastructure Committee. The motion carried by the  
following vote:

Discuss safer parking and pedestrian crossing near schools  
A discussion took place regarding parking and pedestrian issues near  
schools. Chief Reimer clarified if the Police Department is made aware of  
the problem areas, we can take steps to address them. This item was  
placed on file.

on file. The motion carried by the following vote:
