Sex Offender Residency Board Appeal for Curtis Lee Suriano.  
Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by DeBaets, that this Action Item be approved

Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by Anderson, that this Action Item be approved

Prohibited dangerous animal objection by James Surrells for Fafo.  
After discussions with dog owner James Surrells and Police Chief Nick  
Reimer, the Public Safety Committee has decided to postpone any action  
on this matter for now. This topic will be tabled and revisited at a future  
meeting.

Request for No Parking on North 20th Street between Michigan Avenue  
and New York Avenue.  
Engineering Division Manager, Greg Minikel recommended removing  
parking on the west side of North 20th Street between New York Avenue  
and Michigan Avenue based on how narrow the street is.

FEMA Port Security Grant  
Fire Chief Blaser stated that, due to staffing challenges, the United States  
Coast Guard will not maintain a presence in Manitowoc County. Applying  
for this grant offers the Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department a chance to  
obtain funding to improve the protection of our lakeshore and harbor. This  
federal grant includes a cost match component: 75% is covered by the  
federal funding, while the City is responsible for the remaining 25%. Given  
this 25% cost share, Chief Blaser seeks your approval to pursue this grant  
opportunity.

Safe Haven Baby Box Information Packet and Lease Service Agreement  
This item is being presented for approval to establish a Safe Haven Baby  
Box in the City of Manitowoc. The Baby Box serves as a safety device for  
newborns, featuring an automatic locking door that secures the baby once  
placed inside. There is an interior door that allows medical staff to retrieve  
the surrendered baby from within the designated building safely.  
The proposed location for the Baby Box is at Manitowoc Fire Rescue  
Station 3, located at 3820 Dewey Street. Funding for this initiative will be  
sourced from grants and fundraising efforts organized by the Manitowoc  
County Safe Haven Baby Boxes Initiatives Committee.
