2. To determine, pursuant to Wis. Stat. 62.15(1b), whether the significant movement  
of the northwest pinion gear (main lifting gear) of the Eighth (8th) Street Lift Bridge  
is an emergency in which the public health and welfare is endangered unless prompt  
action is taken.  
Resolution Authorizing Emergency Repairs to the Eighth Street Lift Bridge

Moved by Nycz, seconded by Brey, to declare the that the Eighth (8th) Street Lift  
Bridge is an emergency in which the public health and welfare is endangered  
unless prompt action is taken. The motion carried by the following vote:
