3. Discussion and Action Items

Residency Disqualification of District 1 Alderperson Vanderkin

Council President Schlei announced that Alder Vanderkin resigned prior to

the meeting.

Moved by Brey, seconded by Reckelberg, to fill this vacancy by Council

appointment.

Sitkiewitz offered a friendly amendment to set parameters for accepting

application materials.

Moved by Brey, seconded by Reckelberg, to amend the motion to set the

application deadline as 6/13/2024. The motion carried by the following vote:

A motion was made by Norell, seconded bySitkiewitz, that this meeting be
