5. Discussion and Action Items  
Pedestrian traffic concern on South 10th Street at the intersections of  
Division Street and Columbus Street.  
Jennifer Hinz from the Manitowoc Public School District was present and  
expressed her concern about the number of children crossing South 10th  
Street at the intersections of Columbus Street and Division Street. Police  
Chief Nick Reimer and Director of Public Infrastructure explained they feel  
the traffic/pedestrian counts would recommend improvement in this area.  
City staff was directed to bring back a recommendation for this area.  
Request for LED right turn only signage on N. Rapids Road south of  
Wildwood Drive.  
Due to upcoming construction in this area a motion was made to place this  
item of file.  
Moved by Boldt, seconded by Kaderabek, that this Action Item be placed on file.

Request for flashing pedestrian crossing signs on South 30th Street  
(mid-block crosswalk) for Robinson's Inc.  
Robinson Inc.will cover all costs to installation and maintenance.  
Agreement should be reviewed by the City Attorney.  
Moved by Boldt, seconded by Vanderkin, that this Action Item be approved and  
referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

An Ordinance to amend Section 6.120 of the MMC regulating lighting fires.  
Moved by Vanderkin, seconded by Boldt, that this Ordinance be approved and

A motion was made by Alderperson Brett Vanderkin, seconded by Alderperson  
Darian Kaderabek, to convene in closed session at 6:05 p.m. The motion carried

Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during  
the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(f) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the  
governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of considering financial, medical,  
social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of  
specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where  
par. (b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect  
upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems  
or investigations.  
The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is:
