Presentation: Red Arrow Park Beach Access Improvements Update

Parks & Recreation Director, Brock Wetenkamp, gave an update on the Red Arrow Park beach

access improvements.

5. Consent Agenda

These items will be approved by one motion unless any Committee Member wishes to remove an

item for discussion.

REMOVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:

Any Committee Member may request removal of any item from the Consent Agenda, and such item

shall be removed without debate or vote. Any item or part thereof removed from the Consent

Agenda shall be separately considered.

A motion was made by Alderperson Reckelberg and seconded by

Alderperson Brey to approve the items on the consent agenda. The motion

Zoo Donation Tube Request - Rainbow Trout

A motion was made by Alderperson Todd Reckelberg and seconded by

Alderperson Andrew Dunbar to approve the use of donation tube monies donated

by the Northeastern Wisconsin Great Lakes Sport Fishermen and the Lincoln

Park Zoological Society for the fish rearing pond at the Lincoln Park Zoo. The

motion carried by the following vote:

Schuette Park Playground Replacement Design

A motion was made by Alderperson Andrew Dunbar and seconded by Vice-Chair

Jodi Brey to use Ayers & Associates for design services for Henry Schuette Park

playground replacement design. The motion carried by the following vote:

Discussion on Manitowoc Marine Band fundraising agreement

A motion was made by Alderperson Dunbar and seconded by Alderperson Jodi

Brey to forward this item to the City's Finance Committee. The motion passed by

the following vote:

Resolution dissolving the Special Events Committee

A motion was made by Alderperson Todd Reckelberg and seconded by

Alderperson Andrew Dunbar to approve the resolution to dissolve the Special

Events Committee. The motion carried by the following vote:

Special Event Policy update

A motion was made by Alderperson Todd Reckelberg and seconded by

Alderperson Andrew Dunbar to approve the revisions to the Special Event Policy.

This Action Item was discussed, and it was decided to hold the meetings on the

4th Monday of the month, except for June 2026 when the meeting will be held on
