Moved by Vanderkin, seconded by Boldt, to accept the Consent Agenda Items  
and recommendations of the various committees The motion carried by the  
following vote:

5. Discussion and Action Items  
Request to buyout two Enterprise vehicle leases for the Police Department;  
2019 Toyota Sienna and 2020 Ford F-150.  
Police Chief Nick Reimer explained it is more cost-effective to buy out  
these two vehicles from Enterprise than to remove all the equipment and  
place it into new vehicles.  
Moved by Boldt, seconded by Vanderkin, that this Action Item be approved and  
referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye:  
Request to install curb ramps on South 8th Street in front of the Capitol  
Civic Centre.  
Capitol Civic Centre Executive Director PJ Albert explain they are looking  
for a curb ramp to be installed in front of their building on 8th Street and The  
Capitol Civic Centre is willing to cover the cost of installation. A motion  
was made for the Capitol Civic Centre to work with City staff on the  
recommended curbing.  
Moved by Vanderkin, seconded by Boldt, that this Action Item be approved and  
referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye:  
Parking on South 13th Street and Grand Avenue.  
A motion was made to place this item on file. A file should be created for  
the June agenda to discuss South 11th, 12th, and 13th Streets and Grand  
Avenue for possible no-parking restrictions.  
Moved by Vanderkin, seconded by Boldt, that this Action Item be placed on file.  
The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye:  
Pedestrian Crossing by Schuette Park.  
The Public Safety Committee directed City staff to determine the best  
safety measures for this area and provide and update at the next  
scheduled meeting. Police Chief Reimer will request a mobile pedestrian  
sign to be placed in the area temporarily.

A motion was made by Alderperson Brett Vanderkin, seconded by Alderperson  
Chad Beeman, that this meeting be adjourned at 6:30 p.m. The motion carried  
by the following vote:
