Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Kaderabek, to accept the Consent Agenda  
Items as presented. The motion carried by the following vote:

Request for Resolution to Hire Seasonal Employees Related to Elected  
Officials, Department Heads, or Supervisory Personnel

Moved by Brey, seconded by Sitkiewitz, that this request for a resolution to hire  
seasonal employees related to elected officials, department heads, or  
supervisory personnel be approved and referred to council. The motion carried  
by the following vote:

Seasonal Police Assistant Pay  
Police Chief Nick Reimer explained to the Committee that this increase in  
pay is being requested due to the fact that there was an increase in the  
responsibilities of the position due to collective bargaining agreement  
language changes.  
Moved by Brey, seconded by Sitkiewitz, that this request to increase the  
Seasonal Police Assistant pay range be approved and referred to council. The  
motion carried by the following vote:

Duty Pay Rate for 2024  
Director of Public Infrastructure Dan Koski explained to the Committee that  
the request for the increase in the weekly pay was approved as part of the  
budget approval process. This request was to implement the rate increase  
in the Employee Policy Manual and make it retroactive to January 1, 2024.  
Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Kaderabek, that this request to increase the  
duty pay rate be approved and referred to council. The motion carried by the  
following vote:

Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during  
the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(c) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the  
governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of considering employment,  
promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the  
governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.  
The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is:  
One-Time Bonus for Kevin Bottesi, Transit Operations Supervisor  
Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during  
the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the  
governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the  
purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public  
business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session.  
The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is:  
Manitowoc Firefighters Local 368 Grievance Update

5:49 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote:

The Committee commended Kevin Bottesi for doing a good job while short  
staffed.

bonus for Kevin Bottesi, Transit Operations Supervisor, be approved and referred  
to council. The motion carried by the following vote:
